Our hard coating team at the ICMCTF in San Diego.

23/02/2012, PLANSEE sputtering targets for hard coating are on show from 23 – 27 April, 2012 at the International Conference on Metallurgical Coatings and Thin Films (ICMCTF) in San Diego (CA/USA).

Our experts at the ICMCTF In addition to pure metals, we have targets made of numerous ceramic and metallic composite materials such as titanium aluminum (TiAl), aluminum-chromium (AlCr), titanium-silicon (TiSi), titanium-diboride (TiB2) or binder-free tungsten carbide for you in our selection.

One of our product highlights:

Targets made of titanium-aluminum impress with their high ductility, special material purity, excellent thermal conductivity and microstructure. They provide for, among other things, hard and oxidation-resistant coatings for drills, milling machines and other tools. Shall it be a bit more? We gladly perfect our titanium-aluminum mixture with other elements such as niobium, tantalum, molybdenum or tungsten. The shape, size and material composition of our targets can be made completely in accordance with your application.
