Plastic Injection Moulding
The most technologically advanced materials for injection nozzles are TZM and DENSIMET D2M. These materials meet requirements such as:
- Abrasion resistance to fibre-reinforced polymers
- Chemical resistance to aggressive additives
- High thermal conductivity
Other possible applications for molybdenum and tungsten alloys are as components for plasticising units in plastic injection moulding machines.
