Dipped Beam Shields for the Automotive Lighting
A precision dipped beam shield punched and formed from molybdenum ribbon with very close tolerances ensures accurate upward cut-off of the dipped beam and asymetrical lighting of the road.
Molybdenum has a very high thermal stability and is not attacked by iodine vapour. It is also ductile and can be formed so that large quantities of dipped beam shields with exact shapes and dimensions can be produced from molybdenum ribbon.
Advantages:
- Maximum precision and purity for maximum luminous efficiency over the entire service life of the lamp
- Laser optical measurement of all important functional dimensions of the dipped beam shield with recording of results
Versions:
- Finished products: dipped beam shields in the thicknesses of 0.12 to 0.15 mm in accordance with the drawing
- Semi-finished products: ribbon with a thickness of 0.12 to 0.15 mm
Types of product:
- Finished products: cleaned, annealed, ready for installation or processing, heat-sealed with 5.000 pieces in a labelled, air tight polythene bag with desiccant
- Semi-finished products: H4-ribbon in coils, heat-sealed in air-tight polythene bag with desiccant
