PLANSEE has decided to install and continuously maintain a QSE-Management System.

The PLANSEE Quality, Safety & Environment-Management System complies with the requirements of the quality management standard ISO 9001 and the prevailing safety and environmental regulations and is adapted towards the environmental management standard ISO 14001.

Specific standards such as the quality management standard ISO/TS 16949 are taken into consideration in special cases but cannot be fully implemented at PLANSEE since many of our processes are of an innovative rather than a repetituous nature.

Therefore they tend to need more freedom than the processes of typical suppliers to the automotive industry. In addition, since we are suppliers to a broad range of industries the adoption of a branch specific standard would make a uniform QSE management system impossible.
