After a two-year hiatus, the conference will finally be returning for the first time this year. The team from Plansee will also be returning with their own exhibition booth in Long Beach. Along with sputtering targets for semiconductor applications, they will also be presenting additional products for decorative and tribological coatings, including evaporation boats, coils, and filaments for thermal evaporation, as well as arcing cathodes. In addition, we will also be providing information at the conference about ion beam grids as well as information about grid refurbishment options.
During the course of the "Vendor Innovation Showcase," Plansee will be presenting a lecture on the topic "Strong Metals: The Importance of Molybdenum and Tungsten as Thin Film Materials in Microelectronics, Flat Panel Displays, and Photovoltaics." The speakers, Christian Linke and Hennrik Schmidt, will be presenting relevant applications from the areas of microelectronics, displays, and energy, in which thin layers made from molybdenum and tungsten are used. The lecture will take place on May 3, 2022.
