EU PVSEC: Plansee presents new research on the doping of CIGS layers.

"Investigation of a K-doped molybdenum back contact for CIGS solar cells" - Poster: 3DV.1.33
This was the title of a study by the Centre for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Württemberg (ZSW) that investigates potassium doping of the CIGS absorber using a molybdenum layer containing potassium (MoK). Plansee developed the molybdenum-potassium sputtering target needed for this research.

With the development of sodium-doped CuGa sputtering targets, Plansee is working on another method of doping the CIGS absorber with sodium.
