From Reutte to Shanghai

The Executive Board of the Plansee Group presented the Group Pin to Christine Toufar. The Pin is awarded when an employee of the Plansee Group transfers into another division, works there for a minimum of two years, and makes the new location his or her primary place of residence.

Christine Toufar started her career in 2012 in the Development department of Ceratizit Austria in Reutte, Austria. Following a brief training period at Plansee in Lechbruck, Germany, Toufar relocated to Shanghai, China, in 2016, becoming a Technical Project Leader responsible for setting up a new production line. Since 2017, she has headed Plansee's Development department in Shanghai.

During the presentation of the Group Pin, Plansee Group Executive Board member Bernhard Schretter emphasized: "With their expertise and contacts within the corporate network, internationally mobile employees like Christine Toufar are crucial for the Group's continued development."

To date, nine employees of the Plansee Group have received the Pin. Schretter stressed that the company had to become more responsive in the future—with respect to secondments, stays abroad, and when it comes to job rotation.
