Six exciting trade professions are available as part of the Plansee/Ceratizit apprenticeship scheme in the fall of 2020. Anyone who is interested can still apply for one of the coveted places.
Apprenticeships at Plansee

"Get on board with us in the professional world and start your career in a strong team" - this is the motto of our new Plansee/Ceratizit vocational training recruitment video at the Reutte site.

Vocational training is offered in 6 high-tech apprenticeships: metal technician with a main focus on mechanical engineering or machining technology, electrical engineer, laboratory technician (main module chemistry), materials engineer, and process engineer."

Overall, we are offering more than 50 young people the opportunity to enroll on an apprenticeship for September 2020. There are still openings available in several apprenticeships and we look forward to your application," says Christoph Willmann, head of the training workshop.

Plansee is currently investing in the construction of a new training workshop due to the growing demand for well-trained professionals. It is scheduled to begin operations at the start of the new apprenticeship year. This 3000 m2 facility will provide vocational training in various metal-based professions for up to 240 young people. Alongside occupation-specific knowledge in theory and practice, apprentices will also be trained in personal development as well as team and project work.

Political education is another aspect of this training - that is why the internal vocational school is part of the "European Parliament Ambassador School Programme." This is a network of approx. 700 schools that work in close cooperation with the European Parliament.

We also offer excursions and exchanges with other locations and companies, e.g., the legendary soapbox derby "Apprentice Trophy." In this competition, apprentices from the entire Plansee Group work together in teams to deliver an exciting race using their homemade vehicles.
