Acquisition of Mi-Tech approved
The acquisition of the US company Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals in Indianapolis, announced in January 2022, has now been approved by the authorities. This means that Mi-Tech, with its almost 100 employees, has been part of the Plansee Group since November 15, 2022.
Who is Mi-Tech Tungsten Materials?
Founded in 1978, Mi-Tech manufactures mill products and high-precision, ready-to-install, tungsten composite products and components for industries such as energy, engineering, and aerospace. Mi-Tech's corporate headquarters are located in Indianapolis, Indiana. There, production, quality control, sales and customer service are all under one roof in an 85,000-square-foot facility. Production offers all standard powder metallurgy manufacturing processes. Machining processes such as grinding, turning, and milling enable customer specifications to be implemented quickly, precisely and with high quality.
