The recent publication of Plansee High Performance Materials' sustainability report confirms the company's commitment to sustainability.
The EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) were used as a guide when creating the report. As such, it is the first sustainability report to combine the sustainability initiatives of the 12 Plansee production sites around the world. With this step, Plansee, a part of the Plansee Group, is emphasizing its commitment to sustainability and confirming its ambitious goals: CO2 neutrality by 2030 and climate neutrality by 2050.
"Sustainability is a key factor of our long-term success and has played an essential role at Plansee since the company was founded. Alongside financial factors, our business strategy focuses on ecological, human, and social aspects. The report summarizes our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) actions, projects, and efforts," stresses Andreas Feichtinger, Managing Director at Plansee.
From now on the sustainability report will be published annually by the Plansee Group.
