MoNb sputtering target

Molybdenum-niobium sputtering targets for corrosion-resistant layers

Molybdenum-niobium (MoNb) is used in touch panels as a particularly corrosion-resistant contact of the ITO sensor. Our MoNb targets meet the most stringent quality requirements. From the particularly pure metal powder to finished target, we have the entire manufacturing process under one roof. Our MoNb targets are available as planar targets and rotary targets in all common sizes.

Your advantages at a glance:

  • High purity
    > 99.97%

  • Maximum density
    > 98.5%

  • Homogeneous microstructure and chemical composition

Manufacturing MoNb targets

We are specialists in the powder metallurgical production of refractory metals. Whether round or planar, our MoNb targets are produced through the careful mixing of the purest metal powder. The niobium content in the target is defined according to the application in question and amounts to up to 10 percent by weight. The powder is then pressed, compressed evenly using our sintering equipment and subsequently formed into your target. We finalize our MoNb targets for use in our own bonding shops. We have protected our manufacturing processes for MoNb sputtering targets with several patents.

Molybdenum-tantalum sputtering targets

As well as MoNb, our range also includes molybdenum-tantalum for particularly corrosion-resistant layers:

In the PVD process, everything must be perfectly matched. It is only if all process parameters are perfectly matched that the layer that suits the customer's exact requirements can be produced. We carry out sputtering under real-life conditions in our PVD application laboratory. Here our team of developers produces layers and analyzes them according to precisely defined specifications.

New coating materials are developed in a short period of time in cooperation with our customers and numerous research partners. Having worked with system manufacturers and OEMs for several years, we are directly involved in the latest developments and optimizations.
